COSMETIC FASHION JEWELLERY is hyper allergenic-base with silver /gold plating ideal for sensitive ears. Recommend cleaning with sterling silver polish or silver dip, wash with soapy water rinse and pat dry, wrap in tissue to prevent tarnishing when not worn. Cleaning posts with alcoholic swabs or Mentholated spirits, prevents build up of bacteria, a good practice for care of earring posts even for Sterling silver and Gold.
Avoid showering, contact with perfume and creams to maintain finish of the product.
Cosmetic jewellery is however only recommended for those who do not tarnish Sterling Silver.
If your have experienced tarnishing/oxidising Sterling Silver during immediate wear, Plated jewellery will also tarnish/oxidise immediately.
STERLING SILVER
jewellery is stamped .925 the authenticity mark. Sterling silver can be cleaned with silver polish and a variety of other things ie; polishing cloth, silver dip, tooth paste when put onto a soft damp cloth. Wash with soapy water, rinse and pat dry.
Chains recommend lying on flat surface, never pull, lightly rub with polishing cloth, or immerse into silver dip. Silver dip is a great easy product to use, however use as much as you need in a seperate container ( to not contaminate all the liquid) can be reused a few times.
CLOTHING
We recommend cold water hand wash to keep in optimum condition, any stain whilst worn cold soapy water, rinsing immediately.
Certain colours can can bleed but settle after a few washes, avoid direct sunlight when drying to maintain the vibrancy. Detergents also specifically made can be used for colour maintenance.
